INTRO
Hi everyone, this is my last post before Christmas and I'm on the countdown to seeing my family all arrive for Boxing Day. Here are a few things that I've been seeing on the internet lately - I hope you enjoy them too - feel free to pin them or share them with other people if they resonate with you. I've turned off the comments on these posts because they're just a fun Saturday post to look at, enjoy and move on - hopefully with a smile on your face or with something to think about.THOUGHT FOR THE WEEK
This quote sums up my thoughts on why I chose "Rise" as my word for 2018. It's all about making the best of life and becoming our best possible selves. I've already got my word for 2019 planned and I hope you'll pop back in early January to find out what direction I've chosen to go in for the year ahead.FUNNY
I'm not sure if it's funny or sad, but I had a hard time finding a background pic for this quote - because none of the decorated Christmas trees were perfect enough! I'm also not sure why this is a "disorder" - it makes perfect sense to me to want a perfect arrangement of baubles!
INTERESTING
On a completely different note, I wanted to acknowledge all those who are missing loved ones as we approach Christmas. We can be grieving their loss through death, or distance, or detachment - but it's still grief. May you find a way to remember them in a way where your heart is not breaking. I saw this beautiful reminder and had to share it today.ONE LAST THING
This quote caught my eye - it beautifully reminds us to focus on what we have in our hand - rather than envying or comparing it to others.
To keep up to date with my posts, feel free to add your email into the spot especially for it on my sidebar and I'd love you to share this post by clicking on a share button before you go xx
