A couple of weeks ago my friend Sue challenged me to do three quotes for three days. She knew I am a huge fan of quotes (just check out my Pinterest Page and you can see how many boards I have devoted to quotes!)
Rather than spreading it out over three days, I decided to put all nine quotes together in one post and focus on friendship quotes from a fabulous facebook page called Zen to Zany. I plan on using some more of Anita's lovely work in my September Series - Reasons Why Midlife Rocks - so if you love these images then pop over to her facebook page and stop by over September to check out the ones I use in my Midlife Rocks posts.

Lovely quotes. I think the pictures I probably my favourite bits though - I'm addicted to the use of old/old style pictures in quotes, memes, greeting cards, etc!
ReplyDeleteI love the pictures too - Anita from Zen to Zany does a great job of adapting them and colorizing them too.
DeleteA friend who 'gets' you is worth double their weight in gold. Love all of these quotes!

They're so upbeat aren't they Carol? That's what friendship is all about.
DeleteWomen's friendships are essential soul connections.
ReplyDeleteI don't think I valued my friendships as much when I was younger Nancy, but now they are a lifeline.
DeleteI love quotes too---I feel that they are a load of information in a small verse!!

They often sum things up so succinctly don't they Jodie :)
DeleteThese are all great quotes and making new friends during midlife has been such a blessing.
ReplyDeleteIt has for me too Doreen - and I'm loving the connections through blogging too.
DeleteGreat quotes Leanne and thanks for the mention. Looking forward to your September series.
ReplyDeleteI couldn't go past a quotes challenge Sue - and you know how much I love your blog x
DeleteLove so many of these quotes - they made me smile!
ReplyDeleteMe too Sheryl - there's nothing like a vintage picture to remind us of old friends!
DeleteThese are great quotes - and so true. And I love the photos!
ReplyDeleteThanks Lois - she does a lovely job of prettying up those vintage pics
DeleteI love all these quotes. I don't have many friends but I do have that one friend :)
ReplyDeleteThese quotes are all so true. If you have true friends you can spend time with (laughing, mainly) you're rich. I'm lucky to have lots of close friends, even some going back to school and before that.

DeleteLove these quotes on friendship, as I get older I so cherish those friends I've had for such a long time. They are the best part of life.
ReplyDeleteMe too Rosie - in fact midlife has been a real turning point for me in appreciating valuable friendships and discarding cardboard friends.
