Have you ever felt that for most of your life you've made yourself smaller or tried to be what others expect? I wrote about it HERE and I also saw this wonderful quote in a post by Mark and Angel. Midlife is a call to be our authentic selves - those who love us will accept that and rejoice - those who are threatened by it might need to make some changes.

I didn't know this was a "thing"! I have an old gift bag that is full of old gift bags - just waiting to be re-gifted to the right person!
INTERESTING
I don't use Instagram - I keep thinking about starting an account and then realizing it would be another time suck and more time wasting online. I also get caught up in the comparison thing and start getting stressed out that my life is so much less than the lives I see in all their glossy glory. This year it's about being More me - not about being Less. So, I'm not going to be on IG any time soon - I saw this wonderful article the other day and had to share it here. It's titled How Instagram is Tricking You into Thinking You're a Loser.
ONE LAST THING
I love the positivity of this quote - we all get to decide who we are and who we want to become - let's keep making proactive and vibrant choices. The Growing Bolder Facebook page is always full of inspiring quotes to encourage Midlifers to be our best selves.
