With Christmas rapidly approaching, and my empty nest about to be filled to bursting point, here are my Five Days Of Christmas - who could possibly ask for more?
ON OUR FIVE DAYS OF CHRISTMAS MY EMPTY NEST WILL GIVE TO ME:
One Smiling Grandbaby
Two Happy Old Folk
Three Extra Bedrooms
Four "Kids" Returning
Five Golden Days
We won't get all our kids for all five days - but having it spread out is still fine by me - after all, Christmas is primarily about family (and not forgetting that it includes Jesus and his family too!)

DeleteThank you for sharing your 5 days of Christmas with #blogginggrandmothers. Although you can have all of your children with you at once, I hope you will have a little overlap. And expecially, enjoy that grandbaby.
ReplyDeleteA little overlap is the aim Clearissa - just enough to warm my mother's heart without completely inconveniencing anyone :)
