Each Saturday throughout 2020 I'll be sharing my top 5 Midlife quotes for the week. Funny, inspiring, upbeat, thoughtful - I'll be sharing whatever speaks to my heart. #lifequotes

INTRO

Last year I was sharing snippets from the internet, this year I'm going to share my top 5 quotes I find each week that apply to Midlife and the journey we're all on together. I hope you enjoy them. I'd love you to Pin them or save them or share them if any speak to your heart.

They say "a picture is worth a thousand words" in my opinion, a quote can speak a thousand words in a sentence or two. So here we go....

FOR STARTERS

I loved this quote about finding your true self and allowing yourself to have a life that is authentic and meaningful to you - it doesn't have to be the same as everyone else's.

You are allowed to make changes to the way you are living. You are allowed to look after yourself and decide what is important. #lifequotes

JUST A THOUGHT

I'm a huge fan of simple living and being able to retire early because we live within our means. The easiest way to do that is to recognize the difference between "want" and "need" and to choose wisely. When you have the balance right, you realize that walking away from a toxic environment leads to a new life of happiness and no regrets.

The bad news is htat you can't have it all. The good news is that you don't need it all. #simpleliving

A LITTLE HUMOUR

I'm less of a fan of exercise than I am of simple living. I know being fit and healthy is important - but those early mornings are killers!

I never thought I would be the kind of person that would get up early to exercise. I was right #humorquotes

AND FINALLY

What would life be without those friends and loved ones who we hold dear?

My favourite place is with my favourite people. Prasad Lalam #friendshipquotes
