INTRO
Here's the latest little snippets from all over the place that caught my eye and I thought were worth sharing. I hope you enjoy them too - feel free to pin them or share them with other people if they resonate with you. I've turned off the comments on these posts because they're just a fun Saturday post to look at, enjoy and move on - hopefully with a smile on your face or with something to think about.FOR STARTERS
On Monday I wrote about how my new normal is so much better than I expected it to be. It's very scary (for me at least) to take a leap and leave somewhere safe to venture into the unknown. But you know what, change can be good, it helps you grow, changes your perspective, opens new doors - and so much more. It's hard to be brave - but absolutely worth it in the end!THOUGHT FOR THE WEEK
As I've progressed through all the reasons for leaving work and why it was so awful working there, I've come across a lot of information on narcissists and the impact they have on those around them. Looking back it was a textbook case where I worked and it's a blessing every day to not be dealing with it any more. Here are a couple of quotes on recovery and moving on from those situations.FUNNY
Now that I'm happily Unbusy, I seem to have adopted a wardrobe of "leisure pants" and leggings. This quote (a paraphrase of Proverbs 31:25 "She is clothed with strength and dignity, and she laughs without fear of the future") made me chortle. Love my life now!
With the lead up to Christmas in full swing, our letterbox is loaded with dozens of catalogues for all those people who have left their Christmas shopping to the last few weeks before the big day. This Hedger Humor cartoon made me smile.

I watched this little video recently about keeping your blog brand simple and not too razzle dazzle. I loved it because Alicia focuses on avoiding all the annoying things that bug me about some of the blogs I see. She doesn't like pop-ups and too many ads or distractions and is a big fan of white space and breathing room. I thought I'd share her Facebook video HERE in case you're looking for a little inspiration.
ONE LAST THING
Through all the ups and downs of the year, the big take away for me has been discovering more about myself and not backing down or apologizing for things that aren't mine to own. I feel stronger and braver from making the decision to move forward and I thought I'd share a couple of quotes that reflect how I'm going.Have a great weekend! xx
