Each Saturday throughout 2020 I'll be sharing my top 5 Midlife quotes for the week. Funny, inspiring, upbeat, thoughtful - I'll be sharing whatever speaks to my heart. #lifequotes #midlifequotes

INTRO

Last year I was sharing snippets from the internet, this year I'm going to share my top 5 quotes I find each week that apply to Midlife and the journey we're all on together. I hope you enjoy them. I'd love you to Pin them or save them or share them if any speak to your heart.

They say "a picture is worth a thousand words" in my opinion, a quote can speak a thousand words in a sentence or two. So here we go....

FOR STARTERS

I shared how life gave me a wake up call in a guest post recently at Sizzling Towards 60 and Beyond. It was My 3 Life Lessons and this quote was one that summed it up beautifully.

One day it just clicks. You realize what’s important and what isn’t. You learn to care less about what other people think of you and more about what you think of yourself. #midlifequotes

JUST A THOUGHT OR TWO

After leaving my horrible job behind, I've had to do a lot of recovery and repair to reclaim my sense of self again. These two quotes both sum up what it's been like going through that process.

A LITTLE HUMOUR

I'm a big fan of Hedger Humor and this one was a classic.

AND FINALLY

I shared this quote on my Facebook page a while ago and it was very well received. It beautifully portrays life after we recover from a traumatic past. (I share a lot of great quotes on Facebook and would love you to follow me there if you enjoy any of what I've shared on the blog today).

one day you will wake up refreshed, drink coffee, and be able to read a book. #floweraisquotes

Have a wonderful weekend xx
