INTRO

I don't write much about skincare or beauty - I'm not an influencer or someone who's overly concerned about keeping up with all the fuss that's made about trying to look like a 30 year old...but, living in a hot, dry country with a very high UV index, makes me very aware of the importance of looking after my skin. I also know that there's even more that I could be doing if I wanted to take it up a notch.

Today on the blog I'm sharing an interesting collaboration on what that next step can involve...

THE ART OF LETTING GO: HOW TO SIMPLIFY AND DECLUTTER YOUR LIFE

cresting the hill

 THE ART OF LETTING GO

Over the course of our lives we accumulate so much in the way of clutter - notably, our possessions, commitments and even our thoughts. So, in a world where less is often considered more, it is a good idea to simplify and declutter all aspects of it on a regular basis.

The best way to do this is to let go of everything that is holding you back. If you don't, you can start to feel completely overwhelmed. But, if you do, it can be quite a liberating and invigorating experience.

But how do we kickstart the process of letting go enough to actually be able to simplify and declutter the complexities of our lives? And what does that actually mean?

Today I have a collaborative post that puts the spotlight on the art of letting go and how you can create the physical and mental space you need to live your best life.

SHOULD YOU SELL YOUR CAR WHEN YOU RETIRE IN AUSTRALIA?

INTRO

Over the last year or so my husband and I have been chatting about when it'll be time to downsize from two cars to one. Neither of us are driving to work anymore and most of the time at least one car is sitting idle in the garage....when do we sell one and save on some of the costs vs keeping both and having a car each that suits us? (I like small cars, he prefers a bigger engine and more space).

Today on the blog I have a collaboration that covers this topic in more detail and I found it to be really helpful with the list of pros and cons that come with making the decision of whether to sell, or to keep what you have...

INTRO

Today on the blog I have a great collaboration that helps with navigating the process of finding care for our elderly parents when the time comes. And I'm also keeping in mind that I might need to know some of this for my own needs down the track.

I found it to be a really interesting overview and guide, and I hope you do too....
